Around fifty years after the last cheese disappeared from the Alp Nova, the Sennerei Pontresina, or Pontresina's dairy, is once again producing cheese in the traditional way on this idyllic Alpine pasture.
Cheese lovers have the opportunity to watch the traditional artisan craft of cheese-making at the Morteratsch Alpine show dairy and to sample the products on site at a brunch. Various products are also sold locally.
If you would like to take part in an Alpine brunch, please make sure to register by the previous evening. Impromptu visitors can order snacks at the dairy.
The Morteratsch Alpine show dairy is open from the beginning of July to the beginning of October, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and is located immediately behind the hotel and Morteratsch Railway Station.
