The Glacier Nature Trail through the foreland of the Morteratsch Glacier provides interested hikers with a wealth of information about climatology, geology and botany.

From the starting point at Hotel Morteratsch or the Rhaetian Railway Station, the nature trail leads right through the middle of the foreland to the current tongue of the Morteratsch Glacier (stopping points 1-15). Additional themes are covered on the route to the Boval Hut (stopping points 16-20). The 20 stopping points are marked with numbers in the terrain. The appropriate information can be found in the accompanying book or in the smaller booklet.
