There are plenty of opportunities to ride over mountain passes in the Engadin – it's an absolute paradise for racing cyclists. You will occasionally come across professional racing cyclists on a training run on the roads between Maloja and Zernez.
It's not a coincidence that the Tour de Suisse makes a detour into the Engadin almost every year. The treacherous passes and exceptional natural backdrop represent a special challenge for top riders.
