The La Resgia Via Ferrata is located at the end of Pontresina on the left-hand side of the valley at Languard waterfall. The hiking time to the entrance is around 15 minutes from the municipal depot/Seiler AG. The route leads across the south-west face over a 3-rope bridge and up a vertical ladder and a metal net to a point at 2198 m, where you meet "Röntgenweg".
Just past the entrance, the via ferrata leads over easy slabs for several meters to the first steep ascent, where you climb up a vertical 3-meter ladder. Several steep sections then follow, until you reach a stretch of grass which leads to the 3-rope bridge on the right. Cross the bridge from left to right in an exposed position, and climb over a slightly overhanging face to a distinctive Swiss stone-pine. The path then leads across easy terrain and slabs to the large stretch of grass, which you follow to the right until you reach the Spider's Web. The large-meshed net can be tackled both from the inside and the outside. You now cross over the "black" slab further to the right until you reach the last band of rock. You reach the end near "Röntgenweg" via several small, vertical ascents at an altitude of 2198 m a.s.l. The ascent takes around two hours.
You can then either descend to Pontresina via "Röntgenweg" (around 40 mins.) or walk to Alp Languard, where the restaurant and the chairlift mountain station are located (ascent approximately 15 mins.). On the terrace of the restaurant, you can enjoy some well deserved refreshment as well as fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. Afterwards, take the chairlift down to the valley and back to Pontresina.
