Piz Trovat Via Ferrata

The via ferrata leads up to the Piz Trovat at 3146 m. Access to this moderately difficult climbing experience is located only 20 minutes from Diavolezza mountain station. The via ferrata features an ascent of 250 m altitude and a length of approximately 500 m. The ascent takes around two hours.

Description

The route starts at around 2850 m and follows the western buttress. Then it crosses a gorge over a suspension bridge at 3050 m. The path finally leads via the south western face to the summit with a sensational panorama of the highest mountains in the Eastern Alps and the Bernina Massif.

The descent is via the hiking path back to Diavolezza.
