In winter, all kinds of sporting aces – adults and children alike – head for the Languard slope above Pontresina. This is the "Children’s ski world of Pontresina", the winter sports training ground where many ski and snowboard careers have started.
The beginners area on a sunny hillside offers modern infrastructure. Magic carpets in the Snowli Kids Village, a pony lift and a T-bar lift are all available. Fantastic resources support learning in a playful way. The professional quality and competence of the Swiss Ski School in Pontresina guarantees fun and adventure in the snow. And the best thing is that the Languard ski lift is free for children under twelve.
The ski slopes are ideal for training and competition. During the winter season, the Bernina Ski Club organises a variety of ski races for next-generation skiers and night-time slaloms.
A 150 m toboggan run completes the list of leisure activities and is free of charge. The restaurant with its sunny terrace is open daily from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Parking is available in the Mulin and Rondo car parks.
The new restaurant at the Languard valley station offers its guests spacious seating, a good view of the children's skiing area and a large sun terrace. Its menu proposes reasonably priced daily specials and various regional specialties.
