Diavolezza – the beautiful enchantress

From Pontresina, Diavolezza is easy to reach by car, bus or the Rhaetian Railway. At 3000 m a.s.l., Diavolezza affords splendid views of the highest mountain peaks of the Eastern Alps – including Piz Bernina.

For ski slope freaks and freeriders

Thanks to the altitude and its ideal location, the ski area of Diavolezza is open from October to early May, depending on snow conditions. The popular and exciting ski slope and freeride area does not leave any wish unfulfilled. Off-piste skiing requires expert knowledge and the necessary safety equipment, those who go off-piste do so at their own risk.

The longest glacier descent run in Switzerland

The 10 km glacier descent run to Morteratsch is the place to go for experienced skiers and snowboarders as well as telemark skiers with stamina. The return journey is by Rhaetian Railway to the valley station of the Diavolezza cableway.

Moonlight descents

Glüna Plaina means "full moon" in Romansh. During high season, it is possible to enjoy night-time skiing once a month. The brightly illuminated mountain station and the gentle light of the moon point the way down the slopes of Diavolezza back to the valley.
