In the library of the SAC (Swiss Alpine Club) in Pontresina’s Museum of the Alps, you can find works on a broad range of important mountaineering topics. On payment of a deposit, the library will lend the latest specialised literature on the Alps free of charge.

Historical documents, such as old travel reports from the early days of tourism and alpinism, can also be consulted. You can also browse through old SAC hut and summit guest books.
