Pontresina has been known for years as a major centre of Swiss curling. With its 10 to 12 immaculately cared-for rinks, the beautifully situated Roseg natural ice rink has everything a curler could wish for. At all the rinks, the clubs provide their own sets for you to use.
The curling rink is open from mid-December until the end of February, depending on the conditions. The rinks can be rented for tournaments or recreational games.
The ice rink is closed during poor weather or unfavourable conditions. Enquire at Pontresina Tourist Information.
Every Monday evening, curling is played on the Roseg ice rink with a qualified trainer supervising, free of charge. Participation is open to everyone.
The local curling club organises various tournaments at the regional and national level, as well as fun events.
