The legendary Cresta Run has an even longer tradition than bobsleighing in the Upper Engadin. Since the winter of 1884/85, the most daring have plunged headfirst down the 1200-m-long Cresta track on a skeleton-type sledge. In this men-only sport – women are not allowed – speeds of up to 140 km/h are reached. This sporting pleasure calls for plenty of courage as well as precision and is unique in the world.
Those who would like to experience this adrenalin kick for themselves can book a beginner’s course at the Cresta Run office.
