The Alpine Dairy Morteratsch is open daily from early July to early October, 9:00-17:00, and is located at Morteratsch Railway Station, 5 km outside Pontresina.

Beach volleyball

The beach volleyball courts feature a backdrop not of ocean or beach – but majestic, awe-inspiring high mountain peaks, a raging glacier river, and fragrant larch forests. At the Cuntschett sports ground, near Pontresina train station, two courts are available, each equipped with official tour sand. Important: After a volleyball game, the courts must be raked and covered. The volleyball courts cannot be reserved. If you do not have your own ball, you can purchase one at the Flying Cycle sports shop.

Bernina Glaciers

The Bernina region between Morteratsch and Cavaglia has always impressed its visitors with its stunning beauty. The focus is on the eternal ice, boasting unique views over the Bernina Range from the Diavolezza mountain station, the easy access to Morteratsch Glacier over the theme trail, and the fascinating Moulins in Cavaglia. These highlights are interconnected and easily accessible with the spectacular, Bernina line of the Rhaetian Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Tandem-Paragliding

Adrenaline levels climb as the pilot calmly prepares everything for takeoff. A little later, the glider is floating effortlessly, high above the Engadine lakes. A healthy physical condition and body weight between 30 and 110 kg are the requirements for a tandem flight. The launching sites are weather- and season-dependent, varying between Muottas Muragl, Alp Languard, Diavolezza, Corvatsch, or a takeoff site in the adjacent valleys.

Sunbathing on Crast'Ota

Above Pontresina on the way to the lower Schafberg lies the sunny plateau Crast'Ota. Back in the day, when patients suffering from lung disease were sent to Pontresina for its stimulating climate, the sun terrace was the ideal venue to relax and regain strength. Even today, guests and locals enjoy the sunny winter days on the sun terrace of the Crast'Ota with panoramic views of Rosegtal and the surrounding mountain peaks. And the best: sun loungers and fleece blankets are provided free of charge by the municipality of Pontresina.

Helicopter flights

Hop aboard and marvel at the beautiful landscape of the Engadin from aboard a helicopter. Around the Bernina, very close to the Biancograt, you can admire the impressive glaciers from above, take in the seascape from a different angle, and hover right up close to the Bergell granite before touching down again on firm ground. Experience a helicopter flight. The route is up to you.
