Hike along the new Flaz from Pontresina to Bever.

From Pontresina to Bever, this easy, wheelchair-accessible hike leads from Pontresina railway station along the main road. After about one kilometre, however, the beautiful "Flazer Uferweg" branches off, where benches invite you to linger and observe the water meadows. Between Samedan and Bever, the trail leads through a renaturalised floodplain area with rich flora and fauna.

Several barbecue sites tempt you to have a merry picnic with friends and family in the middle of this impressive nature (a wheelchair accessible barbecue site is available). This is certainly the most beautiful part of this pleasant walk. Although the last short stretch to Bever is a little-used tarred road with no pavement, the picturesque village itself is a wonderful hiking destination: impressive Engadin houses with low-lying windows and artistic sgraffito line the historic lanes. Here you can enjoy an aromatic coffee or a delicious snack at the end of your rewarding hike through the magnificent Engadin landscape.
