Diversion in Val Roseg!

This tour of the charming Val Roseg, an official Alpine quiet zone, starts at Pontresina railway station.

By the first Bridge you cross the river, then continue along the same side of the river bank into the valley. The route takes you via crystal-clear, moss-draped streams, avalanche tongues where chamois can be spotted, past bilberry bushes, and through an age-old forest. At the last bridge, the valley opens up, offering a marvellous panoramic view of the snow-covered Sella mountain range and the Sella and Roseg Glaciers. Why not take a break at the Hotel Restaurant Roseg Gletscher, where the mouth-watering dessert buffet is not to be missed. Filled with new energy, you can now head back to Pontresina.

Tip Adventure Trail Val Roseg: 10 stamping stations are distributed along the beautiful hiking trail into Val Roseg and offer the children educational entertainment. Fix the sly fox shows the children the beauties of his valley and everything that can be sniffed, heard and seen in it. With Fix they learn more about the forest, animals, hunting and much more. He has given them a scent. When the children follow it, a surprise awaits them at the end. There are also information boards on the wooden steles about forest, hunting, lichens and birds. In the near future, so-called "interaction stations" will be created at 5 information points. The children's booklet is available at the Pontresina Tourist Information or at the beginning of the Fix Trail.
