The trails on the Bernina Pass are legendary. If riders prefer a more comfortable ride, they should take the Rhaetian Railway up and ride down the single trails into neighbouring valley of the Valposchiavo – 1,100 metres of pure riding skill. But, with an e-bike and on the uphill trail, the ascent from Pontresina is also to be recommended. Fragrant woodland, wild mountain torrents and imposing glacial views of the mountains can be anticipated. . At the top of the pass, riders can choose two routes, either along the railway line (the ‘Bernina Express Trail’) or along the pass road (the ‘Il Poschiavino Trail’). The Pump Track
The Pontresina Pump Track is to be found next to the Pontresina Railway Station, between the Pontresina Sports Arena and the Rope Park. Whether beginner, ambitious amateur or bike crack, all participants will find their perfect line. The pump track also offers skateboarders optimal curves, hollows and waves over a length of 350 metres. The wearing of a helmet is obligatory.

Bike-Skills Park
The Bike Skills Park at the Plazza da Sport Roseg in Pontresina is to be found next to the children's playground by the Sports Pavilion and the Giardin Restaurant. Here, all riders can improve their riding safety and biking techniques.
