Under the corporate name of "Pontresina Tourism Association" (formerly the Pontresina Spa and Tourist Association), a non-profit-earning organisation exists, which unites the interests of the persons ad bodies involved, who have interests in tourism in Pontresina and its surrounding area.

The Tourism Association (‘TVP’) acts as a link to the local authorities and other interested organisations. It supports the Pontresina Tourism Organisation and the Municipality of Pontresina in securing and coordinating  local tourist offerings. For example, the Association  acts as the renter  of the Association's own ‘Camping Morteratsch’ and the restaurant pavilion at the ‘Roseg Sports Ground’. The local tourism organisation ‘Pontresina Tourism’ is officially mandated with being the Agency  of the Pontresina Tourism Association.

The Annual General Meeting of the Pontresina Tourism Association (TVP) is open to the public and now takes place at midday. The TVP Board is also pleased to introduce  a paper from a guest speaker of  ‘Puls Marktforschung’ Puls Marketing Research): Analysis of Pontresina's Brand Market Positioning.

Following last year's Annual General Meeting, which was held circulated in writing because of  the Covid Pandemic, the TVP Board was  glad once more  to invite all interested persons to attend the next  Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 07 April 2022. The meeting  was  open to the public. Following the ordinary agenda items of the Pontresina Tourism Association, information was  also  provided on the activities of the Municipal Tourism Organisation ‘Pontresina Tourism’. The TVP Board was also pleased  to introduce Mr.  Ludwig Hasler, Philosopher and Publicist, as the guest speaker.

Association membership & the Board

Any natural or legal person, who recognises, supports and promotes the aim and corporate objects  of the Association may  become a member of the Pontresina Tourism Association. In accordance with the articles of association, a member of the Municipal Council and the four members of the Municipal Tourism Council are elected by the Municipal Meeting  serve as members of  the TVP Board. The Municipal Council delegates its own TVP representative (currently: Head of Tourism). Otherwise, the board constitutes itself and the Association Chairperson  represents the TVP towards third parties. The day-to-day operational business is delegated to the Municipal Tourism Department (Pontresina Tourism) as the administrative agency.


There is generally  at least one  annual general meeting each  year. The annual  general meeting is open to the public and is followed by an information event organised by Pontresina Tourism. Written invitations to the general meeting are sent out at least 15 days in advance, stating the items on the agenda. Any interested new members are welcome to contact the TVP Agency  by telephone or email.
