Camping Morteratsch
The 'Morteratsch' Camping Place is open all year round and is one of the most beautiful camping sites in Switzerland. It is situated at 1,860 metres above sea level in a woodland clearance of larch and Swiss stone pine trees near Pontresina.
Camping in summer and winter
The imposing backdrop of the Bernina massif and the nearby Morteratsch glacier enable visitors to put aside day-to-day life.
In summer, the campsite is the ideal start-off point for family excursions, hikes, mountain tours and mountain bike tours. A small lake provides the necessary cooling afterwards.
In winter, the campsite provides direct access to the cross-country ski trails, for example. The nearby Diavolezza skiing and hiking area can be reached in just a few minutes by bus. During the busiest summer months, there are two additional sites open by Camping 'Morteratsch'.

It is located at 1,860 meters above sea level in a sparse larch and Swiss stone pine forest near Pontresina, between streams and two small mountain lakes. The power of the unique natural surroundings, with the imposing backdrop of the Bernina massif and the nearby Morteratsch glacier, quickly make you forget your everyday life.
In summer, the campsite is the ideal starting point for exciting hikes, mountain tours, mountain bike excursions, train rides, etc. The lakes invite you to swim and splash around.
In winter, the pitches are just as popular. The site is located directly on the cross-country ski trail. The nearby Diavolezza/Lagalb ski area can be easily reached by bus in a few minutes. Public transport is included during the winter months for stays of two nights or more.
Facilities: Modern, well-maintained sanitary facilities, restaurant, sauna, playground, cozy lounge with kitchen, small bistro, rental caravans and bungalows, camping shop with a wide range of products, gas bottle filling station.
