The Bernina Glaciers - Glaciers in the Engadin
The Bernina Glaciers’ high alpine adventure region includes the greatest glacial area in the Canton of the Grisons, Switzerland. Together with the peaks of the Piz Bernina, the Piz Palü and the Piz Roseg, it is the home of the highest mountains of the Eastern Alps. Between Pontresina, the Valposchiavo Valley and along the Bernina Railway Line - an UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Rhaetian narrow-gauge Railway – the line offers a variety of breath-taking panoramic views, scenic attractions and a wide range of other experiences as well.

Bernina Glaciers
At the centre of the Pontresina high-alpine experience area, are the glacial vantage point on the Diavolezza, as well easy access to the Morteratsch Glacier via the theme trail and the glacial rock mills near Cavaglia. The combining elements are ice, water, energy and the traces of time, which have left their mark on this spectacular landscape.
