The trail initially leads through an idyllic mountain landscape that becomes increasingly alpine. The final climb is steep, but the effort is worth it, as a sweeping view of the glaciers of Piz Bernina is rewarded. A fine wine from the region rounds off the experience. In case of bad weather, please inquire in advance whether the hut is staffed.
