In an exciting final, Italy 1 – made up of Elisa Caffont and Maurizio Bormolini – took the gold medal, defeating the Italian team of Gabriel Messner and Jasmin Coratti from Italy 2. Austria 2 (Sabine Payer and Andreas Prommegger) triumphed in their duel against Julie Zogg and Dario Caviezel from Switzerland 1, securing the bronze medal. Switzerland 1 finished in 4th place.
