Stazersee (Lake Staz) is a real treasure. It lies in an upland moor and warms up to over 20 °C in summer thanks to its dark water. And this despite the fact that it lies at an altitude of over 1,800 m! But you're not alone here: this popular retreat attracts many people in high summer thanks to its children's playground, the Hotel Restaurant Lej da Staz, and the breathtaking surroundings. A lesser-known gem is located near Camping Morteratsch: Lej Aratsch. Here you can really unwind in the middle of the mountains. Other popular bathing lakes in the immediate vicinity are Lej Marsch and Lej Nair in St. Moritz. They are also pleasantly warm high moorland lakes. For those who like a challenge or simply enjoy jumping into ice-cold water, the larger lakes in the Upper Engadin are a real treat!
