We recommend starting with the impressive canyon skywalk at Plazza Bernina and then exploring the other exciting spots along Via da Mulin. Peer down into the depths of the gorge and experience the raw, natural power of the water. Then turn right over the Surovas bridge, where you'll enter the enchanting Taiswald, a magical forest of Swiss stone pines and larches set in a unique landscape.

Plazza Bernina & canyon skywalk
The centerpiece of the adventure trail is the Plazza Bernina with its 37-metre-long canyon skywalk. The barrier-free steel structure "floats" over the whitewater gorge. Anyone stepping onto the slightly transparent platform will intimately experience the steepness and roughness of the narrow gorge.
Attractions in the Bernina Glaciers adventure area
The Adventure Trail around the Ova da Bernina White Water Gorge is also the central starting-off point for various other attractions in the Bernina Glaciers Adventure Area. This area stretches from Pontresina to the Italian-speaking Valposchiavo to the South. Situated along the UNESCO World Heritage line of the Rhaetian Railway, the high alpine Adventure Area is a delight for the curious and connoisseurs alike. With the largest glacier area in the Grisons and a landscape formed by the so-called ‘ice giants’, together with another language and the weather boundaries of the Southern Grisons, its specific culture, architecture and different hearty Italian cuisine.
