Laret Markets in Pontresina

After once having been commenced in the historic Laret Part of the Town, the Laret Markets have developed into a large and vibrant folk festival along the Promenade over the last few decades. The summer-like market atmosphere, cosy get-togethers and musical entertainment attract thousands of visitors to Pontresina each year.

Southern Grisons specialities and products from producers far and wide continue to be offered for sale. Alcoholic (‘Schnapps’) type spirits, jewellery and ‘nick-nacks’, toys and especially culinary delicacies. Raclette Cheese Sandwiches, Pizzoccheri, Meat Kebabs on bread, all kinds of sweet delicacies and much more. Free concert performances can be enjoyed by music fans in the Cour d'Honneur of the Grand Hotel Kronenhof and at the Plazza Rondo.
