Be inspired by the impressive nature on display during this stage

High above the Val Roseg, you hike on one of the most stunning high routes of the Alps. Approx. one hour after the start, the mountain path guides you down to the restaurant Roseg Gletscher. Shortly before the Roseg Gletscher restaurant, the path branches off to the right over the bridge and climbs up the opposite slope to the Chamanna da Tschierva. The Chamanna da Tschierva is the starting point of the famous Biancograt to Piz Bernina, the only 4000 metre peak in Graubünden and the Eastern Alps.

As there is often still a lot of snow at the beginning of June and most SAC huts are no longer staffed at the end of October, the best time to complete the Bernina Trek is from the end of June to the beginning of October.
