Cycle along Lake St. Moritz and over the bathing lake Lej Marsch to Lake Champfèr and then along Lake Silvaplana to Sils and from there into the lovely Val Fex.
The tour starts at the St. Moritz railway station, where you first ride along the Lake of St. Moritz to the Catholic Church. Through St. Moritz Bad, past the Hotel Kempinski and up to the Olympic ski jump and the swimming lake Lej Marsch. Now follow the signposting No. 65 "Inn cycle route" in the direction of Sils and reach the idyllic Lake of Champfèr. Along the Lake of Silvaplana the wide natural path leads to the picturesque village of Sils Maria. At the village square of Sils Maria you leave the route Nr 65 to cycle up to Hotel Waldhaus and into Val Fex. At Hotel Fex is the turning point of this tour. The way home follows the same route to Champfèr. In the middle of Champfèr, the path leads steeply up to the left, past behind the Hotel Suvrettahaus, and above the road to St. Moritz Dorf. Passing the world-famous Palace Arcads, you will reach the St. Moritz railway station.

Tip of the author
From noon onwards a strong southerly wind known as the Maloja wind often blows across the lakes of the Upper Engadin. To avoid the strong headwind, it is well worth starting the tour early in the morning.
Very frequented in the high season.
