Cycle along the edge of the Swiss National Park up to the national border. Thanks to the adapted route, this tour can be cycled right up to the pass. This tour is signposted with the letter B.

The start of this tour is the church in S-chanf, in the middle of the village. The lower road leads to the bridge at the end of the village. Cross the bridge and follow the road past the Prasüras car park to Varusch. Shortly before the Varusch park hut, the road branches off to the right over the bridge and up to Alp Chaschauna. Val Chaschauna is the side valley of Val Trupchun, the valley with the most wildlife in the Swiss National Park. After Alp Chaschauna, the trail climbs in steep bends up to the national border. After a well-deserved rest, you return to the Alp on the same trail and, after the Alp, follow the National Park Bike Marathon 444 back to S-chanf.

S-chanf is also the starting point for the signposted e-bike tour A or the turning point for the signposted e-bike tour C.

Tip of the author
Below the pass on the Italian side is the Rifugio Cassana, if you plan to stop there, make sure it is open. At the Alp Chaschauna, the farmer gives out food and drink when he is present (cash only).

At Prasüras is a energy benche where you can recharge your e-bike (don't forget the recharging cable).
